Macy’s is the latest store to reveal its Black Friday and Christmas shopping intentions. The department store chain published a “sneak look” of its Black Friday offers Monday at Macys.com/blackfriday, a month before Thanksgiving and its famed holiday parade, with savings across fashion, fine jewellery, electronics, beauty, toys, and home departments.
The sales will begin on Nov. 3 and will include “unbeatable prices every week with an updated array of specially-curated, early-access offers,” according to. The cost of admission is as little as $3. Macy’s is providing shoppers with the “opportunity to plan ahead” by “posting our greatest Christmas promotions online and in stores throughout the month of November,” according to Nata Dvir, the retailer’s chief merchandising officer.
Macy’s formed a partnership with Toys R Us and began selling toys online ahead of the Christmas season. Starting in 2022 aims to open Toys R Us locations in over 400 department stores around the country. Because of the pandemic’s persistent supply chain bottlenecks and shortages, experts advise shoppers to start shopping for Christmas presents now, before Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
