‘People can judge me for what I’ve done. And I think when somebody’s out in the public eye, that’s what they do. So I’m fully comfortable with who I am, what I stand for, and what I’ve always stood for’. This strong statement made by Hillary Clinton, former nominee of president of United States of America in the 2016 elections, speaks a lot about the kind of woman she is. A lot of curiosity and anxiety has been built up around the 2020 presidential elections of the U.S. Will Hillary Clinton run for the White House in 2020, is the question.
She has not denied or ruled out the possibility of not running for the elections. Clinton served as a U.S. Senator from New York from 2001 to 2009 and later a U.S. Secretary of State under President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2013. With the [political background she comes with and the kind of politician she is, her running for 2020 election will not come as a surprise to her fellow politicians or democrats. But, this time around, the 2020 elections for Hillary Clinton, will be tougher than 2016. It won’t be an easy walk for her. Trump’s administrative skills and reputation have already created a bunch of democrats ready to run for presidency individually and with a common objective of defeating Trump. So, in a way, Clinton has a massive opposition to face and still stand still.
Her last election campaign, addressed issues surrounding economy and America’s middle class which she believed was vanishing. She stood firm by her statement, “Because when families are strong, America is strong”. With all the chaos and unsettlement around President Trump, his administration, agitation amongst democrats and hope of people, it will indeed not be an easy ride for Hillary Clinton in the coming 2020 presidential elections in the U.S.
